What is vet-Anatomy?
vet-Anatomy is an interactive veterinary anatomy atlas available on the IMAIOS platform. Designed for veterinarians, veterinary students, and animal health professionals, it offers a comprehensive resource for exploring the anatomy of various animal species.
Recognized internationally, vet-Anatomy is a valuable tool for learning, teaching, and clinical practice in veterinary medicine.
Select a specific anatomical part
The “Anatomical Parts” feature lets you select the anatomical structures you want to examine.
Limit or isolate an anatomical structure
The “Partial labeling” feature allows you to visualise anatomical structures within a specific area that you can scale.
"Isolate” allows you to focus on the anatomical structure you're looking for.
Practice with vet-Anatomy
With practice mode, you can test your knowledge in the area of the body you're studying. This feature is ideal for teachers and students alike.
Choose image window
In most CT modules, you can select either the “Bone window” or the “Soft tissues ” option. The same weighting principle is available for certain MRI imaging sequences.
Adjust the image
Adjust the image orientation clockwise or counterclockwise. Flip the image horizontally and vertically.
Select an image series
Choose the image series to display in the image gallery.
Display tools
In this section, you can choose to display the Orientation, which shows the orientation of the body under study. You can also choose to display or hide cross references, activate or not Dark Mode and take a screenshot of the image.
Advanced setting
Reverse image scrolling, reset settings and share images in the “Advanced settings” section of the menu.
Panel of a label
You can gain further insight into an anatomical structure by clicking on its definition, citing its relevance to other modules, and positioning it within the anatomical hierarchy.
Right click
Right-click to access the most useful functions: Scroll, Pan, Zoom, Rotate, Flip and Reset.
