What is e-Anatomy?

e-Anatomy is an interactive atlas of human anatomy available on the IMAIOS platform. Designed for physicians, radiologists, medical imaging professionals, and students, it provides a comprehensive resource for exploring anatomical structures.
Internationally recognized, e-Anatomy has received prestigious awards from the Radiological Society of North America, the European Congress of Radiology, and the French Society of Radiology.

Select a specific anatomical part

The “Anatomical Parts” feature lets you select the anatomical structures you want to examine.

Limit or isolate an anatomical structure

The "Partial labeling" feature enables the visualization of anatomical structures within a specific area that can be scaled.

"Isolate” allows you to focus on the specific anatomical structure you're looking for.

Practice with e-Anatomy

Practice mode allows you to assess your knowledge in the area of the body you are studying.

This feature is ideal for teachers and students alike.

Weighting the image

Most MRI modules allow for weighting in T1, T1+Gadolinium, T2, T2*, FLAIR, or ADC. The same window principle is available for certain CT imaging sequences.

Adjust the image

Adjust the image orientation clockwise or counterclockwise. Flip the image horizontally and vertically.

Select an image series

Choose the image series to display in the image gallery.

Display tools

In this section, you can choose to display the orientation, which shows the viewing angle of the body under study. You can also choose to display or hide cross references, activate or not Dark Mode and take a screenshot of the image.

Advanced setting

Reverse image scrolling, reset settings and share images in the “Advanced settings” section of the menu.

Panel of a label

To gain a more in-depth understanding of an anatomical structure, click on its definition, citations in other modules, and position in the anatomical hierarchy.

Right click

To access the most useful functions, right-click and select the relevant option: Scroll, Pan, Zoom, Rotate, Flip, or Reset.
