From the institution
PC - Access is provided by recognizing the IP address of the user's computer. This means that anyone who uses a computer connected to the institution’s internet network, whose IP address has been listed as part of the subscription, can access the product by visiting IMAIOS’ website.
Here are the steps to follow:
- If you do not already have one, please create a free IMAIOS account on IMAIOS’ website www.imaios.com and obtain a username and password.
- Download and install the free product app on your mobile device (from Apple Store or Google Play).
- Connect your mobile device via your institution's WiFi network.
- Start the application and log in using your IMAIOS account username and password.
All content will then be activated for two weeks (even if your device is offline).
This two-week delay is reset each time you use the application while your mobile device is connected to your institution's network via WiFi.
On the move (outside the institution)
PC- If your institution has an intranet portal, whose proxy IP address has been listed as part of the subscription, you can access the product on our website IMAIOS via the intranet portal.
COVID-19: In order to facilitate off-site access during this pandemic period, we have implemented the possibility for the administrator of the institutional subscription to create a specific Group access (access via individual accounts with logins). Do not hesitate to contact us about this.
Mobile devices (tablets or phones - Android or iOS) - It’s not possible to activate content outside the institution. However, it’s possible to activate them when you are in your institution and use them from anywhere for a period of two weeks (see detailed procedure above).
COVID-19: If the administrator has set up a specific Group access (access via individual accounts with logins) then you can use this account to log into the mobile application and activate the modules at any time.
