Remote users can access protected online content using proxies. For your proxy to permit a connection to your subscription, your institution must configure the proxy.
Contact your technical team to provide them with the following information:
How do I set up an EZ proxy?
To allow your users to access the website through a proxy, you will need to update your proxy configuration.
For the modification to take effect, you must stop and restart the proxy service after updating the proxy configuration file.
For proxy access to function properly, the IP address of your proxy server needs to be listed as part of your IMAIOS IP subscription. See our article for more details on IP subscriptions.
Since the IMAIOS products are supplied via https and are hosted on a secure server, the proxy server must have an SSL certificate. You might have to fill out a self-signed certificate if you don't already have one. Visit the OCLC website to find out more about SSL Certificates for EZProxy.
Then you will need to configure the stanza to allow access to IMAIOS.
